I moved to 20 St. Louis Place for a 3-month internship at a nearby company. Paul was a great landlord, and very accomodating to my short-term situation. When my internship was extended by another few months, Paul helped make the process of extending my lease easy and seamless. The apartments are in a nicely renovated building in Allentown, and there are loads of great restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. Despite the close proximity to downtown, the building always felt safe and was surprisingly quiet. Maintenance issues were dealt with quickly, and a portable AC was even provided during the summer months. Overall, I had a really great experience living here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to live in Buffalo.

I moved to Buffalo for 5 months from Europe and had an amazing time at the apartment at 20 St Louis Pl. They were from the beginning super helpful, and I was able to sign all the lease documents easily from Europe. The apartments really great and when I arrived it looked just like in the pictures. Everybody here was always very nice and when I had questions, they answered them really quickly. In addition, the location of the apartment is awesome. Allentown is really great, and you are also very close to downtown. In summary, a great experience.

I moved in to 14 Saint Louis Place after my first year of medical school with my girlfriend. It was a great decision. The location is very convenient and is a short 10 minute walk to the medical campus. It’s also a quick walk downtown as well. We have always felt safe and the building is very secure. The apartment itself was well up-kept and clean. For three years we called this place home and we have no regrets with choosing this property.

I was at 20 St. Louis Pl. for 6 years, and it was definitely the best apartment experience I’ve ever had. It’s walking distance to both Allentown and Chippewa, right across the street from the new medical campus, and at the same time a relatively quiet spot due to being on a dead end street. The buildings are extremely well-maintained, I’ve never had an issue that wasn’t addressed almost immediately. The neighbourhood is one of my favorites in Buffalo, there’s never a shortage of things to do or see. I’d definitely (and did) recommend renting here to any of my friends. If you’re looking to move to a spot that really allows you to enjoy what the city of Buffalo has to offer, this is it.

It was a really good stay. It’s a nice location, near the heart of Buffalo. There are tons of bars and restaurants that you can easily walk to. The rental management is very fair and I never had any issues with them. And If you need any help on site, Dwyane(the caretaker) is super helpful, I can’t praise him enough!

As a transplant to Buffalo, I was thrilled with my experience at the lofts on St. Louis Place. The neighborhood was surprisingly quiet given its central location in the heart of Buffalo. I was I able to walk to my office in Fountain Plaza as well as countless restaurants and bars downtown, in Allentown, and even on Elmwood (if I was feeling up for a nice long walk). Paul was the most attentive and accommodating landlord I’ve ever had, and Dewayne was always responsive and frequently on site to monitor the weekly cleaning and for any other maintenance needs. I would highly recommend this building to anyone in the market for a new apartment.

Renting with Paul Smith and Lofts Buffalo was a fantastic experience. The apartments are top quality and in a great location. Their prices are reasonable, and the buildings are well maintained, thanks to their very friendly groundskeeper. It was a wonderful place to live. Moving cross-country, we actually rented our unit without seeing it in person and we feel so lucky that we found Lofts Buffalo. The building and the apartment itself are extremely unique and full of character. You reap the benefits of living in a historical home from the hardwood floors and the exposed brick walls, but with the advantage of a tastefully renovated kitchen and bathroom. My husband and I love being so centrally located, we are able walk to work in the medical center while being steps away from anywhere in Allentown and Downtown. Dwayne is the most phenomenal building employee, from clearing snow and salting 24/7 in winters to helping me change my car battery, he really does do it all while keeping the property in tip-top shape. Paul and the management team are extremely helpful and always quick with communication, thanks for making St. Louis Place our home!
